Since 2013, I’ve been an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines (UP) at Manila’s Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM). I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Chemistry from UP Diliman. From 2018 to 2020, I was also the head of the DPSM Chemistry Unit, and in 2021, I was the college secretary of the College of Arts and Sciences. I also received the 2020 UP Manila Gawad Chancellor Award for Outstanding Teacher and the ONE UP Faculty Grant Awards. I am a member of the GAEA Research Laboratory and some of my research interests are analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, food chemistry, and chemical education. Along with creating content and writing books, I am also a certified makeup junkie.
