Lowary as adjunct faculty for the fourth consecutive academic year. Asked on why he returned to DPSM, Lowary has this to say: \u201cI look forward to teaching the UPM students every year and so it was a pleasure to come back. This year, the course is being taught online also to students at UPLB and so there are around 25 students, with roughly half from each institution.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Lowary is the Director of the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He currently teaches the CHEM 197 elective course on Special Topics in Chemistry. His research interests are in glycobiology and glycochemistry.
