Lowary has been appointed Adjunct Professor of the Chemistry-Biochemistry unit of the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) for the third straight academic year (A.Y. 2025-2026. Dr. Lowary is currently teaching CHEM 197, an elective course on Special Topics in Chemistry (glycobiology and glycochemistry) for BS Biochemistry students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asked for comment about his teaching experience with the BS Biochemistry students, Dr. Lowary has this to say: \u201cIt\u2019s been fun to teach the senior Biochemistry students. \u00a0I\u2019ve found them to be engaged, keen to work hard, and motivated do well.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Lowary is the Director of the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan.
