Dr. John Paul Bustillo of the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) won the Best Oral Presentation Award in Radiation Therapy during the Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics 2026 (AOCMP2026) in Busan, South Korea last September 9-11, 2026. His research, “Additive Manufacturing Technology Applications in Quality Assurance Phantom Development and Radiobiological Experiments for X-ray Radiation Therapy Medical Physics” was chosen as the best among all participants in Radiation Therapy. His research was in collaboration with the University of Wollongong, Australia.
