The Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) held a Strategic Planning workshop focused on Research last December 16-17, 2025 at the Bayview Park Hotel Manila.
With the theme “Collaborative Horizons: Charting our Research Future”, the workshop aimed to plan the research direction of DPSM. The two-day activity was highlighted by talks from UP Assistant to the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Percival Almoro, and Vice-Chancellor for Research and Extension, Dr. Leslie Dalmacio. DPSM faculty members also acted as facilitators during the different sessions focused on SWOT analysis, research vision, thrusts and priorities, and action planning.
The workshop was followed by the DPSM’s annual Christmas party. Congratulations to DPSM for this research-focused activity.
