Two BS Biochemistry students completed a 2-month internship training at the Academia Sinica, Taiwan under the Taiwan International Internship Program. The BS Biochemistry students were Crisandro Allen Lazo and Claudine Velasco.
Lazo worked at the Keita Kamino Lab, Institute of Molecular Biology, under the supervision of Dr. Keita Kamino. He worked on Quantitative Biology of Adaptive Cellular Behavior. Velasco, on the other hand, worked at HY Chen’s Lab, Institute of Statistical Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Hsuan-Yu Chen. She worked on Precision Medicine and Bioinformatics.
The program ran from 1st of May to 31st of August 2024.
