Three BS Biochemistry alumni of UP Manila topped the December 2023 Chemist Licensure Exam. Among the 1,143 exam takers, Gil Phillip C. Inocando, Samara Francine C. Gaerlan, and Nicole Aeronne S. Cura placed 4th, 7th, and 10th respectively. Fourteen other BS Biochemistry alumni passed the said exam.

The Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) of the College and Arts and Sciences (CAS) is also proud of the performance of its alumni in the December 2023 Chemical Technician Licensure Exam where UP Manila posted a 100% passing rate.
