Two members of the Laboratory of Materials (LABMAT) of the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) are recipients of the 2026 National Institutes of Health Student Research Grant. They are Mr. Job Miguel Makinano and Ms. Maria Juliana Sophia Linguis, both from the BS Biochemistry program of DPSM. Each student received PhP 100,000 of research grant. Makinano’s research is on Bohol’s artisanal salt while Linguis’ is on wound healing materials. Congratulations to the students.
