Second year BS Computer Science students Team CODERZZZ (lead by Albert Caro) and team GeEngiMa (lead by Enrique Enriquez) competed against students from other schools on the Blue Hacks Hackathon last February 22 hosted by Ateneo de Manila University.

The theme of the hackathon was to create an application that helps solve the problem for natural disaster resilience. This aims to help the community to prepare for upcoming disasters and reduce risk of calamities.
After being given only 24 hours to develop an app, Team CODERZZZ emerged as the champion with their winning application, SALBABIDA—a web platform designed to assist rescuers in locating and reaching individuals in need of emergency aid more efficiently.
