The Mathematical and Computing Sciences Unit (MCSU) of the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM) served as the local organizers of the Workshop on Computation: Theory and Practice (WCTP) 2024 held last November 4-6, 2024 at the 7th floor of the Henry Sy Hall of the University of the Philippines Manila.
WCTP is a workshop series organized by the Institute of Science Tokyo, Chitose Institute of Science and Technology, Kyoto Tachibana University, University of the Philippines Diliman and De La Salle University. It is devoted to theoretical and practical approaches to computation. It aims to present the latest developments by theoreticians and practitioners in academe and industry working to address computational problems that can directly impact the way we live in society.
