  • Application of Homomorphic Encryption
This is one of the main topics of BS Computer Science students working with me in their special projects. Here we study the application of homomorphic encryption (HE) in problems where we are interested in doing computations on computed data without decrypting the data. Applications include e-voting and genomic data privacy.

  • Application of Secure Multi-party Computation
This is one of the main topics of BS Computer Science students working with me in their special projects. Here we study the application of secure multi-party computation (SMC) in problems where the input of the users have to be private (e.g. e-voting, health data reporting, genomic data) by developing applications using SMC tools.

  • PhilSHIFT (Studying the Filipino Chronotype)
PhilSHIFT is an interdisciplinary group that brings together researchers from the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) and the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU) in a collaborative effort that aims to study the Filipino circadian clock and shift work.
