Richard Bryann L. Chua is currently an assistant professor of computer science, where he handles undergraduate classes in data structures and computer networking. As a researcher, his research interests include design and analysis of algorithms, computer security and computer networks and he has also received several International Publication Awards from the UP System. As an IT practitioner, he has served as an IT consultant in several research, government, and private-sector projects.
Asst. Prof. Chua is also an affiliate lecturer at the UP Information Technology Training Center (UPITDC), where he handles application security and mobile security training.
Asst. Prof. Chua is currently pursuing his PhD Computer Science with specialization in Theoretical Computer Science in University of the Philippines Diliman. He also finished his M.Sc. Computer Science with specialization in Computer Systems from University of the Philippines Diliman. He completed his B.Sc. Computer Science from University of the Philippines Manila where he finished cum laude.
