About Me

Herbert Boras Domingo, PhD is Associate Professor I in the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (DPSM). He obtained his PhD in Physics degree at the National Institute of Physics, University of the Philippines Diliman. He teaches Physics and Mathematics at the University of the Philippines Manila and lectures Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at different venues of the teacher development program of Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Manila. Through the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, which is the official volunteer service arm of the University, he helps in uplifting the livelihood of the underserved sector of the society as chair of the Livelihood Program. He is currently head of the Physics and Geology Unit of DPSM and a co-proponent of the newly instituted BS Applied Physics (Health Physics) program.
